Summertime!

Things stay pretty slow here during the summer--except in the repair shop of course! They have plenty of work to keep them busy through the start of school!

We just received the new Peterson "Body Beat" metronome. Although you can listen to it like a traditional metronome it also comes with a clip that you place against your body. The clip pluses at the tempo set on the metronome. After using it briefly this morning I can see that it certainly creates an immedite awarness of the beat. Rather than splitting you aural awarness between what you are playing and what the metronome is doing you can really internalize the beat and focus on your music. It will be obvious to you pretty quickly when you stray from the pluse. Come in and check it out!
